Bill Self is a very popular basketball coach who has risen to the top of his profession. Born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, United States, on the 27th of December in the year 62 the self was recognized as one of the most successful and most well-known Basketball coaches. Self played his first three seasons at Tulsa (1998-2000) and there he amassed a Tulsa best record (74-27) after rebuilding Golden Eagles. Self was the coach of TU's Golden Hurricane into consecutive NCAA tournaments in 1999 and 2000. Self directed the Golden Hurricane in 1999-2000 to their first Elite Eight.
