April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born July 4 in 1995. As a seventh-grade student she started taking piano and guitar lessons. It was this that ignited her love for songwriting. April Lockhart composed her first track, Different at age of 12. At 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing and honing her musical capabilities. In the following months, she started taking writing trips along with her father on trips to LA as well as NY. The month of April also included other themes in the book, Take My Hand, for her pals who were struggling with disabilities, peer pressure or even suicidal thoughts. Lockhart has a fan base of her own and is an online lifestyle blogger for the popular Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. Her disability is a part of her identity, but it's not the complete of the picture. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't just focus on the condition. The point is? The message? We have many different aspects, that our bodies and identities do not reflect all they seem. Lockhart stated in a video interview she does not wish to be defined solely by her physical disability. The woman doesn't intend to become an advocate for disabled people who only speaks about it. There are many aspects of Lockhart. It doesn't impact my daily activities. I run the same way as I always do and have come up with different ways of adapting. Because it's also a component of who I am I think it's worthy of discussion. Lockhart's self-acceptance journey is one that will last for a long time, and she is an inspiration in this regard. She admits that she has gone through phases where she felt uncomfortable in dressing in certain styles that revealed her arms. She now wears any outfit she chooses to and shares pictures of herself in these outfits on the internet with a sense of pride. It's all a process is the main thing I'm not certain until you've arrived she says of self-love. This is a process, and I'm not convinced that you will ever reach your destination. Your people with, who know you and see right into your heart are the ones that remind you of the things that matter.
