Laura Linney has been hailed as one of the most acclaimed actors. Linney is renowned as a strong actress who are also at risk. Her father was a celebrated playwright, but Linney was raised as a single child by her single-mother who was a nurse. In the summer when she was with her father Linney discovered a love for the theatre. She eventually studied acting first at Brown University then at Juilliard School. Beginning her career at the Broadway soon after graduation, she debuted in film within two years, and then on television following a year. She has been featured on a number of shows on stage, television and film programs since. Over the course of her career, she won several awards, among them two Golden Globe Awards. But despite the many awards, her passion for the theatre isn't gone in her, and she continues to perform both as a stage performer and screen.
