Katherine Heigl speaks with the world regarding her "white bubble life" and how it's affected her parenting style for her multiracial adopted children. The actress from "Firefly Lane" spoke to the media that it did not matter the color of her skin for her. But after having a conversation with her adopted Korean American older sister she realized the difference in the way people treated her and her. "I I asked my sister Meg to tell me if she'd been treated one way when she was going out with us parents and in a different manner in the time she was by herself without them. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." The singer became angry at the time, and chose to use that anger to help her adopted daughters. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4. married for 13 years. Their child Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is an Black 8-year-old girl who they adopted in 2012.
